Real Estate Agents: How to Order an Aerial Aesthetics Mission

Quality aerial photography requires good weather, so the sooner you contact us the better the opportunity to get beautiful photos. Our usual area of coverage includes Long Island, Southern Connecticut, Rhode Island, Block Island, New York City and within a 70 mile radius of NYC, including Northern New Jersey.

It's always best to call or e-mail  first. Usually we need a copy of the tax map page showing the property (put an "X" on the subject property, but don't obscure the outline). We also need the listing sheet to help confirm the proper location (it's important for billing and photo labeling also, information is kept in strict confidence). The information can be faxed or e-mailed (see contact info).

Your property will be shot as soon as practical to produce good images, mainly considering the weather. We generally circle the property to shoot from various angles and shoot both wide and close in views. Web gallery proofs of the various images will be posted approximately the next day for digital shoots, and within 3 days for large format film (since film must be scanned). Film produces the best results for large prints (11x14" and larger), but digital is sufficient for most real estate advertising, including color magazine ads.

The proof images are sometimes in a fairly raw form. Once you've made your selection, we can enhance the colors (blue water, haze reduction, etc.), and add property outlines &/or arrows indicating location. If a pool is still covered, we can "open" it by adding sparkling blue water (let us know if the pool is not the usual light blue). We can also add green crops to farm fields that are brown and un-planted.

After you make your selection, we will make the adjustments you may request. We can deliver the final images in various ways: a digital file, posted to our website for download; or via FTP to your server; or on CD-ROM; or delivered as a print (to your specifications).

If we are already dealing with your agency, we will deliver using the usual method. The agency will be invoiced at the agreed rate.
